Why Scientific Research and Communications?

Course Structure

The course spans 1 year, with the first 20 weeks being lecture-based, providing you with a diverse toolbox in scientific research and communications to complete a successful 20 week research project.

Terms 1 and 2 (20 weeks):

  • Writing Extended Scientific Articles
  • Writing Focuses Scientific Articles and Reports
  • Communicating Science to Different Audiences
  • Scientific Research Skills
  • 5 other MSc level modules from the wide selection offered by the Chemistry Department

Research Project (24 weeks):
Undertake a project in our world-leading research groups.

Essential Information

Duration:
Full time: 1 year

Entry Requirements:
All applications are considered on individual merit. Typically Upper second class honours (or equivalent) in a science subject.

English Language:
IELTS 6.5

Location of Study:
Primarily at the University of Warwick but may include a placement at another location

Overseas: £24,640 per year

Part time:
Home/EU: £4,290 per year
