Post Registration Information

Where will I be staying?

All of our registrants have been offered on-site accomodation in Undergraduate Student Halls of Residence near the conference venue. You will either be staying in Aurthur Vick or Jack Martin (click on each name to see images and a full description). Both halls contain single rooms with en suite bathroom. Arthur Vick and Jack Martin can be found on this downloadable map as well as the interactive map of campus.

Where will the Conference be held?

The majority of the talks, posters and exhibitions will be held along the Science Concourse (the long concourse that links Sciences to Physics in the attached map), with some parallel sessions being located in the adjacent Social Sciences building (see Scientific Programme for details).

How do I get to The University of Warwick?

Directions to the University via any means of transport we can think of can be found by clicking here.

What do I need to do if I am driving?

If you are driving, you must register with the parking office by clicking here. Then you must PRINT the permit and display on your car upon arrival or they won't let you park. Parking is at a premium on campus, and they are strict - so please do this if nothing else....

Where do I register when I arrive?

First you will go to the Student Union to register with Warwick Accommodation upon arrival. You will be able to collect your keys between 3 pm - 10:45 pm on your day of arrival, and are welcome to leave your luggage in the left luggage store in Warwick Conferences Reception while you go to lunch and talks. We will have a gap in the programme at 5:20 pm on the 11th for you to get checked in to your rooms. Checkout time is by 9.30 am on the day of departure, and again you can leave your luggage in reception until you are ready to leave.

After this, you are welcome to go to lunch at Rootes Restaurant (April 11 only, 12:00-13:45) before making your way to the Faraday Conference Reception along the Chemistry and Science Concourse (see the Warwick Interactive Map) to collect your name badge etc.
