Gabrielle was born in London and currently lives in Leamington Spa whilst completing her MChem degree in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Warwick. She is an active member of the SSLC and acts as the Student Careers and Skills Representative for Chemistry. She hopes to follow a career in academia and begin a PhD in late 2017.
Gabrielle has worked in multiple areas, including natural therapies for cell inflammation (Max-Planck Institute in Mainz, Germany, 2015) and “green” fuel cell electrochemistry (Monash Univeristy, Australia, 2016). She is now broadening her horizons to include Nanomaterial Impact and Fate in the Environment as part of the Davies Group, where she is carrying out her MChem project.
