Jonathan graduated from the University of Hull in 2015 with a First Class Masters Degree. During his final year, he undertook a project in the design and synthesis of palladium based hydrogenation catalysts under the supervision of Dr. M. G. Francesconi. This lead to an interest in catalysis, consequently in October 2015 Jonathan began Ph.D. at the University of Warwick under the supervision of Prof. Evgeny Rebrov and Dr. Gemma-Louise Davies.
Jonathan's current research project involves the use of magnetic actuation to actively mix heterogeneous reactions within a novel microfluidic cell.
