Current Trends in Molecular and Nanoscale Magnetism 2016
Gemma was an invited speaker at the CTMNM2016 meeting in Pylos, Greece in October 2016. After an eventful trip (due to air traffic controller strikes!), she eventually got there and enjoyed some science, scenery and an excursion to Ancient Messini!

COST Meeting 2016
Gemma-Louise was invited to speak at a COST-Network 'Path towards independence: Young scientists' careers in Europe' meeting, to describe the opportunities available in the UK and Ireland. More details about this network can be found here.

CRUK Sandpit Event
Gemma-Louise attended a CRUK Sandpit event on Early Diagnosis of Cancer in December 2015 and was awarded a grant, along with some fantastic new collaborators towards the early diagnosis of bowel cancer.

Nobel Prize winner Prof Michael Levitt Interview, University of Warwick
Prof Michael Levitt (Chemistry Nobel Prize winner 2013) visited the University of Warwick in March 2015 to attend and speak at the Computational Molecular Science 2015 Conference in the Department of Chemistry. Dr Gemma-Louise Davies interviewed Prof Levitt about Interdisciplinarity in research; an article will appear in Warwick's Exchanges journal later in the year.
