Oscar A. Douglas-Gallardo

Research Project: My research project aim to explore the light-driven hot-electrons photochemistry and their potential use to trigger different surface chemical reactions with potential technological and environmental applications. Specifically, we are interested in exploring the carbon dioxide reduction reaction on different nanostructured plasmonic materials that may catalyze this chemical reaction by means of these energetic electrons and using sunlight as energy source.
