Josh, Rachel, and Vani all worked under the supervision of Prof. Julie Macpherson. Josh was mentored by Sam Cobb, investigating etching to create thin film diamond. Rachel was mentored by Emily Braxton, working on hydrogen peroxide generation and detection. Vani was mentored by Dr Zoe Ayres, developing sensors for pH. Joe, Katerina, and Peter all worked under the supervision of Prof. Pat Unwin.

Emily and Ruben were both MAS CDT students who worked under the supervision of Prof. Julie Macpherson. Emily worked in collaboration with Pfizer, on the electrochemical detection of pharmaceutical substrates in liquid chromatography. Ruben was mentored by Zoe Ayres, looking at how to move electrochemical sensing towards point of care and in-vivo analysis directly in bodily fluids. Rhiannon and Aron were both MAS CDT students who worked under the supervision of Prof. Pat Unwin. Rhiannon worked on the quantitative visualisation of human hair using electrochemical imaging, being mentored by Faduma Maddar. Aron was mentored by Changhui Chen. Segun was an ASI student who worked on the development of a new electrochemical platform for pathogen detection.
