Computer Science

I am a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of Warwick. For someone who lived in Milton Keynes, the location of the university is perfect in that it is far enough from home to be more independent but close enough for regular visits.

The university of Warwick offers much more than teaching excellence that you will experience throughout your degree, the department will always offer support (academic and personal) to you and there will always be someone at hand to help.

Apart from studying you will be able to have fun too! There are a variety of activities in the university for people with various interests, you are almost guaranteed to find what you like in the numerous societies and sports clubs present in the university. I have been to a number of university campuses and I feel the Warwick campus is by far the most vibrant and if you don't like long journeys to lectures, then the Warwick campus can not be better for you as everything is so conveniently located.

I currently work for Ernst & Young in the London office doing Technology & Security Risk Services and from my short experience in industry I have to say that the skills (both technical and soft skills) I have acquired while at the university of Warwick helps me a great deal when faced with difficult tasks and situations.

I sincerely hope that some of you will choose to join Warwick and have a good time just like I did.
