Full time, fixed term position for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.
The fellow will mainly collaborate with the Data Science Research Group, Prof. Graham Cormode and Prof. Hakan Ferhatosmanoglu, and aim to publish in the premier venues of data driven research. The position is funded by our transport agency partners and European Research Council. The research topics include temporal graph learning, cloud-based analytics of mobility data, and scaling the machine learning process in terms of both size and variety of data. Candidates with related research interests (e.g. graph neural networks, spatio-temporal analysis, scalable machine learning) are encouraged to apply.

If you have not yet been awarded your PhD but are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant on level 5 of the University grade structure (£30,046). Upon successful award of your PhD and evidence of this fact, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure (£30,942 pa).
