I am a first year MPhil/ PhD researcher with the Warwick Institute for the Science of Cities (WISC). I completed a BA (Hons) in French Studies in 2003, also at Warwick and went on to pursue a career in property development for the past 13 years. My work experience to date includes working in logistics property development in cities such as Madrid, Milan and Barcelona and residential property development in London, Leeds, Brighton and Manchester.
I am now undertaking my training year within WISC, where I am gaining skills in Data Analytics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial modelling. My research interests lie in the enhancement of quality of life in cities and urban environments across the world through better use and planning of their built environment. My main focus is on gaining a better understanding of the urban fabric and its potential within cities (since over half of the world's population is living in them now and this is set to keep rising) to provide a better quality of life to its residents and workers.
My office is located on the 1st floor of Senate House in the North Wing. Please email me to arrange a meeting to ensure that I am around.
I am involved in the teaching of the following modules for the 2016/17 academic year:
- CS133 Professional Skills
