About me

Hi! I'm a first year PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at University of Warwick, working under the supervision of Prof. Yulia TimofeevaLink opens in a new window (DCS, University of Warwick) and Prof. Kirill VolynskiLink opens in a new window (UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology).

Research Interests

My research focuses on applying mathematical and computational methods to investigate synaptic plasticity and neurotransmitter release. In collaboration with the Volynski Lab (UCL), these approaches are used to complement experimental techniques, with the aim of uncovering how disease-linked mutations affect neurotransmission at individual synapses. This is key to understanding how synaptopathies disrupt brain function at the network level and lays the foundation for the development of targeted strategies for their treatment.
