Our recent research on decision-making in a spiking neuronal network has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Neuroscience (IF 8.657). In this paper jointly authored by Dr Smerieri of the Università di Parma (Italy) and Profs Feng & Rolls of COMBI, we show that longer time constants for the inhibitory neurons can decrease the reaction times, and also produce theta rhythm.

Prof Feng will deliver a keynote address at the 2nd IEEE Workshop on Communication among Neuroscience, Cognition and Information Technology (CNCI'2010) with a focus on Brain Imaging and Neuroinformatics.
