Athena SWAN staff survey

*** THE SURVEY IS BELOW, DIRECTLY AFTER THESE INTRODUCTORY NOTES ***

What is this survey for? It underpins our submission for an Athena SWAN Silver Chartermark in April 2018, and we will use your responses to inform ways in which we can better support staff in the School of Engineering, so your response is very important. The survey is adapted from one by the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the questions ask about your perceptions of the School of Engineering, and your experience of working here, at a level that cannot be achieved in the institution-level PULSE surveys.

Is it anonymous? Yes, unless you request a personal reply to points you have raised by entering your email address in Q37 at the end of the survey. Even then, all responses will be treated in confidence. Where there are fewer than 5 respondents in a category, we will not share the quantitative data so that we can be sure to protect the identity of individuals.

How long will it take? The survey has 37 questions, none of them are compulsory.

If you don't have much time, and you simply answer the check-box questions below (and omit the free-text comment boxes), then the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.

If you have time to include your opinions in the free-text sections then this will be greatly appreciated, but we know this is a busy time of year and a concise response just using the check-boxes and drop-down menus will still be very welcome.

If you find you have lots of comments, please write and save them in a document before pasting them into this form (as data entered in the form won't be saved until you submit it), to avoid significant loss of work if your connection to this page is interrupted.

Thank you very much for your participation, and if you have any technical issues with the form please contact J.F.Collingwood@warwick.ac.uk
