Paper 12

Welcome back,

This paper is completely different to any article we've encountered before.

From a broad perspective it focuses on generating enough food to feed a growing world human population.

An increasing population naturally places pressure on food supply chains but when we consider this isolated issue in the context of building a sustainable future the problem is exacerbated.

In particular Daniel Sergelidis critiques the technology, and pros and cons of lab grown meat. We invite you to read this article and formulate your own opinions on the matter. Before reading the paper, write down your current thoughts and opinions on lab grown meat, we'll then see how your thoughts change after considering the science.
