A new academic term begins...

The EPS team arrived back in the lab today, and our immediate priority was to finalise the project poster, which will be due tomorrow. The project poster summarises everything the we have achieved so far this year, and all that we hope to achieve before June. Initial feedback has suggested a well designed poster that clearly illustrates a variety of technical work, along with appropriate credit to all of our sponsors.

The project poster for this year may be viewed online in pdf format here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/eng/meng/esmo/news/posters/

Warwick Power to Primary !

Warwick Power - already sharing a primary team role with University of Southampton for Electric Propulsion Thruster designs - have now been promoted to Primary team for the general Electrical Power Supply Systems  on ESMO.  This means that the moon orbiting satellite - due for launch in 2011 - will be carrying Warwick designed power supply units for all on-board electrical power supply requirements.
This is a tremendous achievement for the 2006-7 team, and puts future team members in a commanding position to pursue this project through to mission launch in 2011.
