2007 - 2010          PhD in Materials Science at the University of Parma (Italy).

My research deals with materials by design and predictive modelling of thermoelectric materials for energy harvesting. I am focusing on the semiclassical description of the charge and phonon transport in semiconductors. Exploitation with TCAD and FEM codes is envisaged.

I have also extensive expertise in the control of the processes and mechanisms for the preparation of ad-hoc materials with tailored properties. I had a long time experience in the physical chemistry of the interfaces between ferromagnetic materials and molecular semiconductors, with relevant applications in molecular spintronics.
