Modelling and analysis of human motion and balance, and the impact of impairments to these on energy expenditure

The systems modelling and analysis of biomedical, biological and pharmacokinetic processes using compartmental modelling and other techniques in system dynamics, non-linear systems theory and control theory. Examples of the application areas of this activity include: antibody kinetics in myeloma and renal transplant patients; dialysis scheduling; kinetics and dynamics of anti-cancer agents; transmission and control of mastitis in dairy cows; optimal oral drug dosing; and bacterial peptidoglycan biosynthesis. These activities have been in collaboration with a wide variety of researchers including hospital, university and industry based research teams.
