Research Interests

Acoustic resonant (FBAR / SAW) sensors, RF, Analogue CMOS circuit design, CMOS microsensors, smart sensors, Chemical Sensing and Artificial Olfaction, Biosensors, Ultrafine Particle sensing.

Sanju Thomas is a teaching Fellow at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick. He received the B.Eng. degree in Electronics & Communications engineering from the VTU, India and M.Sc. degree in Biomedical engineering from the University of Warwick, U.K in 2010. His Ph.D research was focused on bio/chemical sensing using SAW and FBAR microsensors and their CMOS integration, so as to form a hybrid Bio-MEMS System-on-Chip. He has also led the research efforts in a collaborative multi-disciplinary EU project (Multisensor Platform) for three years. Sanju has published over 15 technical articles in scientific journals and at several international conferences. He is also a reviewer for Sensors & Actuators A and Sensors Journal.
