Electronics & Control

This part of the project is focussed on extracting real world information and converting it into electronic data. This is then used by a control system, based on the findings of the fluids guys, to actuate a response appropriate to the environmental conditions, in order to minimise the effects of smoke and fire.
There are two of us looking at this part:
Michael (Electronic & Communications Engineering)
Nariman (Computer System Engineering)
Currently Michael is working on the electronics (sensors, microcontrollers etc) and Nariman is working on the coding of the control system which co-ordinates the response of the fans in the room based on the readings of the sensor array.
