UCRA2022 is offering bursaries for individuals presenting a paper at the conference and who would be otherwise unable to attend without our support. Bursaries will cover the cost of conference registration.
A number of bursaries will be awarded in two categories:
- Low- and Middle-Income (LMIC) Bursaries: LMIC bursaries are for participants currently based in a country that appears on the OECD list of Low- and Middle-Income Countries. The bursary covers conference registration.
- Non-LMIC Student Bursaries: These bursaries are open to PhD students currently based anywhere in the world. The bursary covers conference registration.
For all bursaries, participants who have not attended an UCRA conference previously will be prioritized. Decisions about bursaries will be made by a sub-committee of the UCRA2022 Scientific committee.
NOTE: Student applicants are required to attach a statement of support from their supervisor explaining why participation at UCRA2022 is important for the applicant’s training and development. The statement should be attached to the email sent to firstname.lastname@example.org together with the CV and the abstract prepared using the conference template.
The applications should be sent by e-mail before 15 April 2022.
