Housing

Inspect

• Always inspect and treat lame sheep at housing

Separate

• House lame sheep separately throughout the housing period

Footbathe

• Footbathe all sound sheep before housing

Treat

• Treat all feet suspected of having footrot / scald as outlined for ewes and lambs
• Only trim if badly overgrown

Bedding

• Provide dry bedding each day, especially around feeding racks/troughs, water troughs and other dirty areas
• Change ALL bedding if putting healthy sheep into pens where lame sheep have been kept
