Postgraduate award in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

In November 2014 I enroled into the Postgraduate Award in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. I completed this in February 2016. The PGA is accredited with the Higher Education Academy and I am now an Associate Fellow of the Academy , providing me with a nationally recognised qualification.

January/February 2014: Introduction to Microbiology (laboratory practicals) (year 1 undergraduate)

October/November 2014: Biochemistry (laboratory practicals) (year 1 undergraduate)

January/February 2015: Introducton to Microbiology (laboratory practicals) (year 1 undergraduate)

January/February 2015: Neuroscience (laboratory practicals) (year 2 undergraduate)

January/February 2015: Animal Physiology (laboratory practials (year 2 undergraduate)

January/February 2016: Introduction to Microbiology (year 1 undergraduate)

January 2016: I designed and delivered coaching lectures aimed at undergraduate students of all years, with the aim of preparing them for some of the challenges of studying for a degree.
