Hussein Gherli

Hello and welcome to my ePortfolio!

My name is Hussein Gherli. I am a PhD student and this is my third year in School of life Sciences at the University of Warwick. I graduated from the faculty of Agriculture at Damascus University in 2007. I have appointed as a Teacher Assistant in the same University in 2008 and rewarded a full scholarship to do my postgraduate study abroad. I arrived to Warwick University in August 2010 as it was my choice. At the beginning, I joined a pre-sessional English course for about 10 weeks and then began my taught Master course in Plant Bioscience for Crop Production at Warwick HRI (now known as Warwick Crop Centre), Wellesbourne in October 2010. After completing my Master’s degree I started a PhD degree in Plant and Environmental Science in October 2011.
