My PhD project is about establishing the genetic, biochemical and biophysical characteristics of a novel Trimethylamine N-oxide demethylase (Tdm) identified in Methylocella silvestris BL2, an alphaproteobacterium isolated from a modestly acidic forest soil. I am supervised by Dr Yin Chen and Dr Hendrik Schäfer.
