Selected speaker at Rooting 2017: The 8th International Symposium on Root Development, held in Umeå, Sweden (29th May-1st June). Presented 15 minute seminar on conceptual background of my research and hypothesis of cell cycle involvement in immunity-growth antagonism.
Participated in BiotechYES (2017): attended workshop at Syngenta, Jealott's Hill, and as part of a team of 5, devised and pitched a business plan for a hypothetical biotechnology product.
