Webinar - research on vegetable crops in Belgium

Monday 12th May, 4pm to 5pm (UK time) - in Microsoft Teams.

This webinar will focus on current research on vegetable crops in Belgium and will be led by Sabien Pollet and Jonathan De Mey from Inagro. Inagro is a privatised agency of the Province of West Flanders. Inagro provides advice to farmers and growers and has facilities for research, validation and demonstration in a wide range of crops grown in conventional, organic and agro-ecological farming systems. Inagro has been a partner in a number of European projects that have relevance to vegetable production in northern Europe, including SmartProtect and IPMWorks. They are now partners in AdvisoryPestNet, which is a follow-on from IPMworks with a focus on advisors. Many of the issues that Belgian vegetable growers face are similar to those in the UK.
