Cabbage root fly (Delia radicum)

The cabbage root fly (Delia radicum) is probably the most serious pest of brassica crops in the United Kingdom. Recent research includes identification of novel control agents (insecticides and biopesticides) and screening for host plant resistance (VeGIN project).
