GRU Genetic Resources Unit (GRU)
The GRU has a remit for the collection, conservation, characterization, documentation and research study of a range of vegetable crops and their wild relatives.

MORPH provides decision support for horticulture - offering a range of models to help growers manage their crops.

MORPH pest models in EXCEL

The equations for four of the MORPH pest models (cabbage root fly, carrot fly, pollen beetle, large narcissus fly) and three day-degree models (lettuce-root aphid, willow-carrot aphid, currant-lettuce aphid) have been extracted and summarised into a spreadsheet-based tool in EXCEL so that they are available to others. They can be accessed here.

MORPH crop disease models

The MORPH software is very old and as newer versions of WINDOWS appear it is becoming harder to sustain. The aim of a recent AHDB project was to extract the algorithms for 6 of the disease forecasting models in MORPH so that these would be available to others for development into new formats. They can be accessed here.
