In chapter seven, a few proofs of propositions were ommited in the lectures.
Are the proofs labeled as such examinable?
Thanks

No, definitely not. To be really explicit: Propositions 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7 and Theorem 7.8 were stated but not proved in lectures and you do*not* need to know their proofs. In case someone else asks about Chapter 2, there is some material in the printed notes for that chapter which we omitted and is definitely not in the exam. This is indicated in the notes by being in smaller print and labelled "not examinable": section 2.4 (all), and subsection 2.5.1 and 2.5.2. But the first part of section 2.5 (all of page 13 in the printed notes) is examinable.0 likes

There are also a couple of propositions at the end of section 3.2 that are in smaller print; are these also non-examinable? Thanks0 likes

Correct. We did not do tensor products. Anything mentioning tensor products or the symbol is not examinable. [That's the trouble with trying to be explicit instead of leaving you clever people to use your common sense -- you take me too literally!]0 likes
