Research Interests
My principal area of interest lies at the interface of applied mathematics and engineering with a focus in the field of kinetic theory and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics particularly of the polymer dynamics. I am developing an efficient deterministic algorithm (based on the lattice Boltzmann approach) to solve the phase-space dynamics on a lattice which will yield the solution for the configuration probability density of a polymer molecule This will also result in the development of an approximation-free multi-scale model for polymer solutions by utilizing the hyper-lattice dynamics in velocity phase space of polymer. In addition, I am also interested in modeling of the micro to nano scale flows to integrate the small scale effects like slip flow by utilizing the fundamental kinetic nature of lattice Boltzmann scheme.
