Open Days

Register to attend an Open Day

Come and visit us if you are interested in:

  • Mathematics of Systems MSc/PhD programme or Complexity Science PhD
  • Multidisciplinary research and training

Open Days are held specifically for potential and current applicants to the Centre in the Autumn and Spring terms. These take place in the current Centre for Complexity Science, based in the Zeeman Building on the University of Warwick Campus on the following dates:

A brief Welcome and Introduction.

Intro to CDT

The Director introduces the Mathematics of Systems Centre for Doctoral Training (with opportunity for Q&A).
12.15 - 13.00

Lunch

Buffet-style lunch. A great opportunity to meet with current students and academic staff of the Centre!
13.00 - 14:00

Forum Talk

Attend an informal and introductory research talk with staff and students on a topic relevant to MathSys
14.00 - 15.00

Q&A and Informal Interviews

Informal interviews*. Schedule published on the day.

* We will want to check on the level of your mathematics, hear about your academic interests (particularly any project work) to date, your motivation for our programme, and your future goals.


Please also note that due to sponsor constraints the Centre for Complexity Science is unable to cover travel or accommodation expenses for candidates who travel to the centre for an Open Day or interview.
