About Warwick Centre for Global Health

Warwick Centre for Global Health is an international network bringing together individuals, organisations and disciplines to develop practical solutions to health needs. In particular, the Centre works globally, and particularly with resource limited nations to transform health systems and improve health worldwide.

The Centre’s mission is to harness diverse areas of expertise to develop practical solutions to health needs by conducting operational, implementation, public health and health systems research. The team are committed to research into the development and implementation of scalable policy and practice which is not only innovative but also effective and affordable. These policies and practices are essential for improving the health of poor populations.

Established in 2014, Warwick Centre for Global Health, previously known as W-CAHRD, has conducted and disseminated first class applied health research, through the development of systems and technologies for healthcare and assisting with their transfer and management.

Areas of research interest include, but are not limited to; Slum Health, Non Communicable Diseases and their risk factors, Quality and Access to Health Services and Methods. For more information on some of the centre’s current research, please see our research.Link opens in a new window
