CLAHRC WM Researcher Nominated for Prestigious Teaching Award

CLAHRC WM Research Fellow Dr Rebecca Johnson of CLAHRC Theme 3 (Prevention & Detection of Diseases) has been nominated for the prestigious Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence, which celebrates excellence in teaching and the support of learning at the University of Warwick.

Individuals are nominated by colleagues or students, and the award aims to recognise and reward staff who have had exceptional impact on the student learning experience, and who enhance the profile of teaching excellent at the university. Winners will receive an award of £5,000 and commendees receive £2,000 to further enhance their practice.

The first stage of judging began on 21st March 2016 and winners and commendees are expected to be announced soon. We are thrilled to hear that Rebecca has been nominated and wish her the best of luck in this competition. More information about the awards can be found at: Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence
