Professor Francis Levi’s work was recently recognised in Nature, one of the world’s leading scientific journals.
The article tells the story of Carole Godain who took part in a clinical trial nine years ago. Carole’s first treatment had failed and she was living with 27 tumours on her liver. She had chemotherapy administered at home every night at 10pm, and the treatment helped. To this day, she’s cancer-free.
As Professor Levi says, “We have found that the timing is sometimes more important than the dose.”
