You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

BMS - MI Seminar: NanoSyrinx: a new Warwick spin out building the future of intracellular medicine; and we’re hiring! Dr Joe Healey and Dr Nick Waterfield
MBU/A151, Medical School Building

NanosyringesAbstract: An opportunity to join a new and exciting spin-out biotech company!
The Waterfield group has developed a novel system for the delivery of biological drugs, to the interior of cells, in a targeted manner, using a completely genetic system. Our protein “nanosyringes” are highly effective, evolved, protein delivery tools, and a new spin-out company, NanoSyrinx, is set to translate these in to the commercial world. The already-multi-billion-dollar biologics market is the fastest growing pharmaceutical sector, and the best-selling drug of all time, Humira, is in this class. Despite this success, biologic drugs have many severe limitations, which are holding back their therapeutic potential. NanoSyrinx’s technology promises to improve on numerous aspects of the current state of the art.
Our company recently finalised a funding round with a major international pharmaceutical company, and a number of local investors. Consequently, we are looking for 2 to 3 individuals (current post-docs or PhD students) with interests in molecular biology, protein engineering/expression, and tissue culture bioassays to join the team and help us deliver our next set of commercial and technical milestones.
This is an exciting opportunity to come in at the foundation stage of a company with huge potential, and to become instrumental in its scientific progress.
If this sounds interesting to you, come along to this short seminar to find our more about the company, the roles available, and to ask any questions to the team.
