Warwick Medical School part of new NIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Incubator
Warwick Medical School is part of one of five new Incubators announced by the NIHR to support research careers.
The NIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Incubator will develop a national learning network of experts in knowledge mobilisation and practice. It will support and develop research and knowledge mobilisation capacity, both for early career and for more senior researchers who wish to design, undertake, understand, evaluate and advance innovative knowledge mobilisation and develop careers in researching knowledge mobilisation, implementation and impact.
Prof Sophie Staniszewska, who is part of the collaboration, said: “We are very pleased to be part of the NIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Incubator led by Prof Krysia Dziedzic and Dr Alice Moult at Keele University, in collaboration with many valued colleagues within universities and key agencies. The NIHR Incubator Award will prepare future researchers to engage with, and work alongside, underserved communities in moving research evidence into practice. It provides us with an excellent opportunity to further develop our research and practice on supporting patients, communities and the wider public in knowledge mobilisation for better health outcomes.”
