Pharmacy based video consultation: which patients use it, and how do they experience it?
This study examines which patients use one private service, offering remote GP consultations based in pharmacies, with the addition of diagnostic equipment. It also examines patterns of use, reason for use and satisfaction of patients using this remote GP consultation service.
This project involves quantitative analysis of routinely collected patient data, obtained at the end of each consultation during the study period of December 2019 and June 2020.
Qualitative interviews will explore GP and patient perceptions of using the remote GP consultation service, and will explore experiences in using the service, and benefits of the diagnostic equipment offered by this service.
