NHS at 70 – Diabetes courses bursary offer
At Warwick Medical School we want to celebrate this 70th year of the NHS. The NHS has had a significant impact on health in the UK and we would like to make our own contribution towards tackling one of the biggest challenges we currently face – diabetes. So for this academic year (2018/19) we would like to offer all NHS employees a 25% bursary to undertake the following courses:
- Certificate in Diabetes Care (CIDC)
- Optimising Glycaemic Control
- Advanced Leaders Programme
- Management of Diabetes in Hospital Clinical Areas
These courses will give you the skills to influence diabetes care at the patient level and enhance your own services to tackle this growing challenge.
Given that the West Midlands has the highest regional diabetes prevalence in the UK we are offering a 50% bursary for those working in this region that we call home.
