Non-Science Peer Teaching

Our students have incredibly varied backgrounds...

...and many have never studied science before. It can be a daunting prospect - embarking on a medical degree without previous biological science experience - and so NonScience Peer Teaching was created!

Since 2017, Phase II students - also without a biological science background - have provided extra support to these Phase I's, through a safe learning environment where any science question can be asked. Through weekly seminars reviewing the more complex underpinning concepts, we're here to reassure new students that you can excel with any background.

The regular sessions build a real community of students who have studied arts, languages, humanities, social sciences - and some who did a science, just not the biology kind!
