Reporting self isolation or sickness

It is important that all students and staff report if they are required to self isolate or have symptoms of Covid 19.

For undergraduate students

Report a requirement to self isolate (for any reason) from the form in the Student Handbook .

If symptoms are present or develop, contact Warwick Test and Trace on campus or nearest test centre for guidance (see NHS website).

  • If a positive test is obtained via the Warwick Test and Trace system, the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.
  • If a positive test is obtained off campus, the student reports it via the Warwick Test and Trace form for the purposes of contact tracing, and the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.

The personal tutor will be made aware and will be in touch. Other relevant staff involved in face to face teaching will be made aware of any absence.

 

For postgraduate students

Report a requirement to self isolate (for any reason) via PhD supervisor and PhysicsPG@warwick.ac.uk .

If symptoms are present or develop, contact Warwick Test and Trace on campus or nearest test centre for guidance (see NHS website).

  • If a positive test is obtained via the Warwick Test and Trace system, the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.
  • If a positive test is obtained off campus, the student reports this via the Warwick Test and Trace form for the purposes of contact tracing, and the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.

Student to make relevant people aware if unable to deliver any teaching or demonstrating responsibilities.

For staff

Report a requirement to self isolate (for any reason) via sickness reporting in Successfactors which will alert your line manager and the Physics HR team.

If symptoms are present or develop, contact Warwick Test and Trace on campus or your nearest test centre for guidance (see NHS website).

  • If a positive test is obtained via the Warwick Test and Trace system, the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.
  • If a positive test is obtained off campus, the member of staff reports this via Warwick Test and Trace form for the purposes of contact tracing, and the Head of Department and Senior Administrative Officer will be contacted by the Test and Trace team and any further steps taken.

Member of staff to make relevant people aware if unable to deliver any teaching responsibilities.
