Health & Safety Leadership & Management Document Update

There have recently been legal updates to the University's Health & Safety Leadership & Management Document. The Document and information on Health and Safety policy can be found here: Health and Safety Policy (warwick.ac.uk)

This training covers legal aspects of H&S, in particular the role of the HSE, the types of enforcement actions, fines, fees for intervention and finally how we can protect and mitigate ourselves and the university through the Occupational H&S management system (BSI 45001). It is necessary that you attend this training in order to fulfil your health and safety duties to the department and the University.

There are two sessions and have been organised to communicate these updates to Physics colleagues:

Venue: Humanities Building H0.64

Dates: Tuesday 18th April 10-11am

If you cannot attend the in-person training you must then attend the online training which will be held on Tuesday 25th April 11am-12pm (online via teams).

This briefing satisfies the training 'Health and Safety Legal Update' outlined at the bottom of page 23 of the document.
