There will be a visit to see the medical physics facilities in our local hospital: UHCW (University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire). The University Hospital is on the northern side of Coventry and is a major clinical imaging and radiotherapy centre.

This is a chance to learn about the application of physics to medicine including:

• career opportunities in Medical Physics
• an opportunity to meet & ask questions of medical physicists
• tours of the equipment which may include radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI & X-ray

The visit will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday 18^th Jan with mini-buses leaving from the Warwick Physics Department at 5.30 and bringing people back at 8.30.
