Tom Killestein's Reflections on NAM, 2022

We speak to Tom Killestein, third year PhD student in our Astronomy and Astrophysics group and also a member of this year's Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the National Astronomy Meeting (NAM).

Looking back at a busy week full of events, what was your favourite highlight of the week?

One of my favourite parts of the week was reacting to the JWST images being released in real-time, and chatting science with my friends and colleagues. There was a real buzz in the air as we all processed the momentous news together! It was also so great post-pandemic to meet all the people who I've only interacted/collaborated with online in person.
