The following projects are offered for self-funded students studying a 12 month MSc by Research.
Note that all projects have some travel funds, and in some cases a trip (e.g. to Grenoble or Japan) for experimental work will be funded.

Several projects are available on applications of density functional theory supervised in Theory, CMP and the Magnetic Resonance Centre (marked * above) .
An MSc project is available in Elementary Particle Physics with Dr. Yorck Ramachers on the SuperNEMO Double Beta Decay Data Analysis Development Project.
Additionally, a second MSc project is offered on 'New detector technologies for particle physics, industry and environmental sensing'
