Forbidden Planets Roundtable

Please see the interview with Alastair Reynolds here

This exciting interdisciplinary event will explore the concept of habitability, both on the Earth and other distant planets. We live in an age where new planets are discovered almost daily, yet our own appears increasingly under threat. What impacts could these changes have on society? What makes a world suitable for life? How does life affect a planet’s habitability. Join us for a roundtable discussion linking Warwick staff and students from across the university. The roundtable will be led by renowned writer Alastair Reynolds, author of Revelation Space, Blue Remembered Earth and many other novels.

The event will be followed by an exhibition of entries to the competition “Concepts of Habitability”. Students interested in entering this competition can find details here. Please register by filling in the form below. Registration is free. Wine and refreshments will be provided after the session.

This form is closed and is no longer accepting any submissions.

Thank you for your time.
