Sabrina Outmani

I am a first year PhD student working in the Astronomy and Astrophysics group at the University of Warwick, under the supervision of Prof Tom Marsh.

My research focuses on finding and characterizing systems of double white dwarfs, with the intent of contsraining their physical properties and understanding their formation and evolution. In order to achieve this, I apply spectroscopy and photometry techniques.

As an observational astronomer, you will often find me at the Roque de Los Muchachos observatory, in La Palma, one of the beautiful Canary Islands, where I use state of the art telescopes such as the WHT and the INT. I furthermore have opportunities of observing in Chile with ULTRACAM.
