All authors presenting a Poster or Oral presentation at the 2023 Diamond Conference should provide an extended abstract for each paper presented which will be included in the online and pdf Conference Book of Abstracts. The abstract book will be available to registered delegates prior to the conference. It is therefore essential that abstracts be delivered on time if they are to be included. The abstract should detail the key points of the presentation and where appropriate provide supporting information.

Abstract can only be submitted electronically as pdf documents. They should be formatted as described in this template (WordLink opens in a new window or pdfLink opens in a new window).

It is expected that abstracts will be 1 - 3 pages of A4 text (including figures and references).
Please make sure that you set the page size to A4.
Please use 12-point Arial font for the main text and set the top, bottom, left and right margins to 2.54 cm or 1 inch. Set the line spacing to 1.1. The text may include figures, equations and tables. Please label all figures, equations and tables clearly and design them such that they will reproduce properly on a screen. All figures should be integrated in the text with sufficiently detailed figure captions.
Please leave the header and footer area clear.
Any references should be indicated in the text and be at the end of the abstract in the order they appeared.
Acknowledgements should follow the main text
