Diamond processing technician, member of Warwick Electrochemistry and Interfaces Group and also Diamond Research Group.
My work tasks involve laser micromachining of diamond and other materials, including patterning for various applications. Day to day activities also involve supervising the clean room (Level 7), acid cleaning laboratory and maintaining the laser systems. Other skills and competent techniques include: diamond polishing, metal sputtering and evaporation, optical microscopy, white light interferometry and data analysis.

I completed an apprentice ship as a chemical lab technician from 2005-2009 at the Infra Leuna GmbH. The apprentice ship involved a different variety of water analysis like spectroscopy, HPLC, BSB5, CSB and more.
My last position was at the Max-Planck-Institute for Microstructure Physics in Halle, Germany. The main task of my work there was the TEM preparation (in particular cross sections of film/substrate combinations) on a variety of substrates like silicon, alumina, zirconia, strontium titanate and other single crystal substrates.
