Funding to help return to work after a career break

The following funders have a small number of fellowships available for researchers and academics to apply for following a career break:

Warwick Academic Returners Fellowship

Internal scheme for academic staff to provide central ‘buy-out’ funds for the teaching and administrative duties for staff on full academic contracts who are returning to work from long term leave.

L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science UK & Ireland fellowships Fellowships to support women in science, does not pay salary.
Daphne Jackson Fellowship A unique fellowship designed to return STEM professionals to their careers after a break.
Janet Thornton Fellowship

A postdoctoral level fellowship aimed at those who have been out of science for a minimum of 12 months.
