Sleep and Pain Laboratory

Chronic pain and insomnia are two common but disabling health problems that a patient may suffer from at the same time and do not respond well to conventional interventions. Our group is keen to help tackle these problems through developing better treatments and new understanding.

With the establishment of a new sleep and pain laboratory, we are in the process of creating a panel of potential participants from the region for our studies. Participating in our studies would typically involve staying in the lab (pictured) for a couple of days and completing a few questionnaires and tasks. For the initial few studies, participants sought include adults who regard themselves good sleepers, poor sleepers or insomniacs, as well as those suffering from chronic pain (whether they have problems sleeping or not).

If you are interested in taking part in one of our studies, please provide us some information using the form highlighted below. We will get back to you with more details for your consideration.
